Sometime after the Brinton Family constructed the front portion of the house, they installed a main floor bathroom in what was a parlor bedroom. In the 1930’s the staircase in the back portion of the house was moved to the location of the parlor bedroom turned bathroom.
Between 1960 and 1990 a main floor bathroom was added to the front unit using area taken from the back parlor that was made into a kitchen.
